Process simulations are a part of many projects and are performed using our licensed copy of HYSYS software. We perform process studies to scope greenfield facilities and optimize existing ones. At Tuxtla, we have expertise in most oilfield equipment including:

Regulatory

Pipeline studies are performed using our licensed copy of PIPESIM software. Tuxtla has successfully modeled systems with:

 

 

  • More than 100 wells

  • Looping scenarios and options

  • Three-phase flow

  • Slug flow through hilly terrain

Studies are typically completed to perform some or all of the following tasks:

  • Evaluate pipeline diameter options

  • Identify bottlenecks in existing systems

  • Identify flow regimes

  • Optimize fluid velocities in sour systems to minimize corrosion

  • Assess pipeline capacity

Pipeline Simulations

Tuxtla provides a full range of construction drawings for all projects.

These include:

 

  • Process flow diagrams (PFD’s)

  • Process and instrumentation drawings (P & ID’s)

  • Piping (ortho) drawings, plans & sections

  • Isometric drawings and material take-offs

  • Plot plans, grading plans

  • Detailed electrical and civil drawings

 

Tuxtla’s draftsmen work in both Autocad and Intergraph Micro Station.

 

Tuxtla also provides “as-building”  services, which will provide various civil, mechanical and electrical drawings for existing sites.
